Why You’re Binge Eating (And what you can do about it!)

Binge eating is when you consume a large amount of food in a small amount of time, often to the point of discomfort. There is frequently a sense of loss of control as well as a feeling of distress, guilt and shame afterwards. If you’ve ever binged you know just how upsetting an experience it can be.

Unfortunately, because of all the guilt and shame it can bring up in us, it isn’t something we often talk about. Even though there are far more people dealing with it than we might think.

In today’s video I break down the 3 most common reasons you may be binge eating:

  1. You aren’t eating enough food
  2. You’ve got diet-brain
  3. Food is acting as an emotional support

As someone who dealt with binge eating myself for years I know just how upsetting it can be. But rest assured you can build a healthy, happy relationship with food and you can finally wave bye-bye to binge eating.

I hope this video helps you out and don’t hesitate to leave a comment below or to shoot me a message if you have any further questions!
